Our partnered center established the first IVF ICSI (Intracytoplasmic sperm injection) and performed one of the first cases of preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) for a sex-linked genetic disorder. Today, the clinic offers infertility patients´ diagnostic tests such as the Clomid Challenge test and hysteroscopy; assisted reproductive technology such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF); as well as third party reproductive services, including embryo adoption and surrogacy.
The State of California is considered the most liberal in the U.S for Surrogacy. The surrogacy is legal by law for same sex couples or individuals, ensuring an orderly and controlled procedure. Allocating surrogates have rigid criteria of fit such as health, psychological monitoring before and during pregnancy, and contracts made by two separate lawyers (for parents, the surrogate mother, and her husband in the case that the surrogate is married).

Under the laws of California the Intended Parents will be registered as parents from an early stage of pregnancy, ensuring a hassle-free and orderly registration. The newborn will receive an American Citizenship from the day of his/her birth and will be eligible for an American passport.
Michael Vermesh, MD, FACOG
Dr. Vermesh received his medical degree from the Tel Aviv University, Sackler School of Medicine in Israel. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago and a two year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at The University of Southern California. Dr. Vermesh is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology, with expertise and knowledge from over 20 years experience in teaching and in the treatment of reproductive disorders and infertility. He was a full time faculty and continues to hold a position of Clinical Associate Professor at The University of Southern California.
As the founder of the Center for Fertility and Gynecology, Dr. Vermesh has been fortunate to see his vision of an independent, full service, world-class fertility center in the San Fernando Valley come to fruition.
